Ms. Jackie loves to teach dance and has been teaching since high school! She started dancing at a young age and branched out even more throughout middle school and high school, when she added musical theater to her repertoire of ballet, lyrical, improvisation, jazz, hip hop, tap and modern. She loves combining dancing and singing into one to create a beautiful story. From three-minute dance combinations to two-hour shows, she loves to escape the real world and live in that story.
As dance captain in high school and dance minor at the University of Central Florida, Ms Jackie has found great joy teaching dance, helping others better themselves and express themselves through this art form. Her biggest goals for her students are to explore the possibilities of dance, to create and live in their own dance world, and to try even when the task seems impossible. She is excited to be that teacher for students to talk to, learn from, and create a beautiful distraction from the day’s worries
